Daytona International Speedway has released the course layout for the 2026 Daytona Supercross, set to take place on February 28 as part of the Monster Energy SMX World Championship during Bike Week in Florida.
The 2026 event marks the 19th consecutive year the iconic track has been designed by five-time Daytona Supercross winner Ricky Carmichael, with this year’s layout introducing several changes aimed at increasing the technical challenge for riders.
The course will open with a right-hand first corner before sending riders toward pit lane through a series of smaller jumps leading to Turn 4 on the NASCAR circuit. Unlike recent editions, the track will not extend fully across the front straight, instead featuring a stadium-style triple jump that feeds into a back-and-forth rhythm section. The signature tunnel jump returns once again, followed by a split-lane section across the start straight.
Carmichael said the aim was to balance familiarity with increased difficulty, explaining, “For this year’s layout, I kept several fan-favorite elements while mixing up the layout to create one of the most challenging courses the riders will face all season,” adding that winning at Daytona “simply means more.”

Seven-time Daytona Supercross winner Eli Tomac welcomed the design, noting the way the circuit evolves through the night. “My favourite thing about Daytona is how the layout breaks down for the Main Events; it has all the technical aspects that bring the whole evening together,” Tomac said. “It always looks good, with high-speed sections, technical rhythm lanes, and those motocross-style segments mixed in.”
The most recent Daytona Supercross saw Ken Roczen claim his first career win at the venue, ahead of Cooper Webb and Aaron Plessinger.
The 56th running of the Daytona Supercross will once again be staged under lights at Daytona International Speedway, forming a centrepiece of the 2026 Bike Week schedule.
