Following an injury picked up at the Trentino Enduro GP, TM's Davide Soreca will be forced to sit out his second 'home race' of the 2018 World Enduro Championship season, next weekend in Edolo.
The young Italian needed extensive surgery to repair damaged tendons in his upper thigh, and despite the long summer break he is still undergoing recuperation.
"This has been a difficult period for me, but following advice from several doctors I had to take the tough decision to undergo surgery in order to fix the badly damaged tendons in my leg. I'm working hard on a recovery programme. I'd like to thank everyone for their support and understanding in this time." The 23 year old confided.
This comes as a real blow for "Showreca" as he currently sits second in the J2 standings, and third in Junior Overall.
