Highway Performance Bikes Off-Road Team rider David Hogan will make his first appearance at an Australian race meeting for over eighteen months when he lines up at the second round of the KTM Australia Enduro-X Championship this weekend in Sydney.
Following an extended stay in the USA in 2013 where Hogan and his team spent five months in California and the surrounding competing in a range of local motocross, desert, and off-road style events, he has returned home and dusted off his number 517 KTM 250XC-W that has been sitting in a storage container and is looking forward to racing the clubman class this weekend at Parramatta Speedway.
"Its always been a place I wanted to do a race. Ever since I was a kid watching the Australian supercross rounds at the speedway I have always hoped to get a chance to ride at the venue," Hogan stated regarding lining up at the Parramatta venue on Saturday night.
"The Parramatta round will be the first time that Hogan has raced since he completed in the Amateur class at the Hangtown AMA National in May 2013 a race that he has fond memories of along with the rest of his time spent in the U.S with his partner Jen.
"Hangtown was a long time ago. I got 4th in the 25yrs+ class that day after pulling holeshots in both moto's. Hopefully, I can find that form this weekend at Parramatta."
