Motorcycling South Australia have announced the motocross discipline will be managed under new leadership, effective immediately, by current MX Nationals competitor Daniel Banks.
The enthusiastic Adelaide based rider formed part of the SA Motocross panel in 2016 before stepping into the leadership role with Daniel be supported by a dedicated group of experienced motocross personnel.
Charged with the management of the growingly popular South Australian MX Championship, the group will oversee and facilitate the series in conjunction with other motocross discipline events within the state. The group will also continue to place a heavy focus on junior development and promotion both within the industry and externally in order to attract an ongoing growth in the market.
General Manager of Motorcycling SA, Mal Bulley is looking forward to working with the newly assembled group as they build towards a new season of racing. Following a busy calendar in 2016 that included the state hosting the KTM Australian Junior Motocross Nationals, Bulley admits the future is looking positive for the discipline moving forward.
