With a limited amount of seat time after being drafted into the team late, Chris Blose is looking to move forward in the results next round.

Chris Blose earned a top-10 finish in his first appearance with the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team at the opening round of the Eastern Regional 250SX class at NRG Stadium.

With limited time on the bike, Blose managed to ride solid and race his way into 10th.

Each time Blose hit the track, he was looking to dial in his race bike and get comfortable, especially on a hard and fast track on the floor of NRG Stadium.

In timed qualifying, he earned 10th overall, placing him in the first heat race. Blose’s start was on point in the heat race where he started in third before eventually finishing fifth. He couldn’t duplicate the start in the main event and came around the first lap in 16th.

While Blose faced an uphill battle, he quickly moved into 13th where he maintained until later in the race when he made a run at the top 10. He was able to make the passes he needed and put his. No. 57 into 10th for the night.

“I think with the limited amount of time I had on the bike and coming up against others who’ve been training all year, we had a decent day,” said Blose. “My goal is to be fighting at the front and I just didn’t get the start dialed in the main event, which is something we can work on this week. I’m looking forward to making improvements next weekend in Tampa,” he concluded.
