Chris Blose and Luke Urek to head Hart and Huntington InsureMyRide Super X team

Posted:

Hart & Huntington have joined forces with Australia's leading motorcycle insurance company 'Insure My Ride' to form an Australian Supercross team that the companies say breaks the typical boundaries that exist within the motor sports world.

American Chris Blose will head the team in the Pro Open class while Australian FMX pioneer Luke Urek will cover duties in the Pro Lites class .

Blose's results this year proved that he has what it takes to be a top contender in the Australian Super X series, with his impressive 4th place finish in May in Las Vegas at the final round of the AMA Supercross Championship. Chris's overall point's results and consistently making all main events will be his key to success at this year's Australian Super X series.

Urek's racing career reveales many national and state titles through his junior ranks and early senior ranks before his switch to freestyle motocross. Since moving on from freestyle motocross Luke's profile is still well known throughout the motorcycle industry and scene today. Luke is extremely pleased to have the opportunity to return to his racing roots and to be riding for Hart & Huntington / Insure My Ride.

Also riding Pro Open will be Chris Camilleri. Chris raced the previous 2 years of Super-X on a 250 4-stroke, since recently changing to the pro-open class on the big KXF450 he has felt a lot more at home. Chris's focus is all 100% Supercross orientated and his goals are to stay healthy and make all main events.

InsureMyRide are new name to the team this season and National Business Development Manager, Luke Smith was happy to jump on board. "We have a great team here at InsureMyRide, and not only do they know everything there is to know about bike insurance, but they are hard core bike enthusiasts, so when we find opportunities to align our brand with a team like Hart & Huntington, we jump at them," Smith said.
