Motorcycling Australia has advised a change of dates for the Australian Under 16‰Ûªs 125cc, 125cc Teams, Under 16‰Ûªs 250cc Speedway Solo Championships.
These Junior events will now be run alongside the Australian Under 21‰Ûªs Speedway Solo Championship on the following dates:
Thursday 18th January 2018 125cc Practice and Qualifier (If required)
Friday 19th January 2018 Individual 125cc Solo Championship
Saturday 20th January 2018 U16 250cc Solo Championship in conjunction with the 2018 Australian U21 Solo Speedway Championship
Sunday 21st January 2018 125cc Teams Championship

The changes of the dates will assist in the growth and publicity of Junior competition in Australia and condense the calendar into larger events. The change of dates moves the events back to a traditional calendar slot and encourages a festival of speed with plenty of Junior talent on display.
