Brock Winston is 100% focused on finishing off the final two rounds of the 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals championship on a positive note after splitting with the Craig Anderson Racing team in controversial style on Sunday at Raymond Tce.

The tension between rider and team manger hit boiling point after an off track incident that you can read Winston's take on the situation CLICKING HERE

While separating from Anderson's outfit, Winston will look to finish out the season any way he can and is confident of continuing his long standing relationships that he has built over many years riding with KTM and now Husqvarna.

While things are still somewhat up in the air, Winston is planning on being at both Gladstone and Coolum at the end of August and will be aiming for more top results after his fifth place round finish at Conondale at round 7 and a fine 7th place moto result at Raymond Tce on the weekend.

"At the end of the day all I want to do is race, I want to be the best rider I can be and that is all I am trying to do." Winston told Fullnoise.com.au. "I want to be at Gladstone, obviously stuff is still up in the air a bit right at the moment. I will 100% be at Coolum, no matter what.

"I am pretty sure Ill be at both rounds though, there are some things to work though, but ill be up there on my own and doing it the way I wont to do it. I am looking forward to finishing this season off with some strong results and getting the right people around me to help with that." Winston added.

Round 9 of the 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals heads to Gladstone on Sunday the 24th of August
