Motorcycling Victoria‰Ûªs State Motorcycle Sports Complex will host the opening round of the 2014 Monster Energy MX Nationals at Broadford on Sunday, March 30.
Broadford‰Ûªs motocross track has been overhauled and major upgrades have been put in place to welcome the country‰Ûªs best motocross riders for the opening round of Australia‰Ûªs premier motocross competition this weekend.
Broadford‰Ûªs State Motorcycle Sports Complex is owned and managed by Motorcycling Victoria - the State Controlling Body for motorcycle sport in Victoria.
Broadford‰Ûªs Manager Nick Selleck is excited at hosting the opening round of the MX Nationals.
‰ÛÏWe have rebuilt the motocross start-gate which is now hydraulically operated so it‰Ûªs going to be reliable and trouble-free." Selleck explained. The track itself has had a lot of top soil and mulch poured onto it over the last couple of months and it‰Ûªs in great condition.
‰ÛÏWe‰Ûªre also due to get a bit of rain this week so the track should have a really good racing surface come Sunday,‰Û
