Brenton Walther Continues To Run Up Front In NSW

Posted:

Brendon Walther continued his strong results in the NSW Motocross Championships over the weekend at Nowra on the NSW South Coast.

With threatening weather all weekend the riders managed to escape the worst of it with a few showers on Sunday making for a slick track but stopping short of a mud race.

On day one Brenno performed flawlessly on his YZ 125 to qualify fastest and then race to three moto wins, earning him the overall for the round. It also moved him into the lead of the championship with one round to go.

Day two wasn‰Ûªt quite as smooth sailing but Walther put his head down and raced his YZ 250F to 2-2-3 finishes, with plenty of positives out of the weekend including great starts he is well positioned to take the championship down to the final moto.

‰ÛÏOverall this weekend was great, Saturday went perfectly on the 125 and then Sunday was pretty solid on the 250. I just made a couple of little mistakes on the slick track but I‰Ûªll take those and learn from them. I feel good and am looking forward to the final round at Appin in a few weeks.‰Û
