Information obtained late this afternoon has broken down the total guaranteed prize pool for this years Australian Supercross Championship. As
reported earlier this week, a total of $120,000 will be up for grabs across the season.
What we now know is the $120,000 will incorporate both the round and overall prize pool across three classes with privateers having a portion of the total prize pool set aside for the working class riders of Australia.
In total $46,200 will be on the line in the SX1 class with $37,050 allocated for the SX2 class in round prize money alone with prize money being paid all the way down to 20th position.
A further $31,950 will go towards overall series podium finishers as well as the top five privateers in each class at years end.
If a SX1 rider was able to win all six rounds on their way to winning the 2015 championship they are set to pocket $14,000 in Prize money!
