Bradley Cox’s signing with the Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team marks a major step in his career, as the 2024 Rally2 World Champion graduates to the RallyGP class with full factory support.

South African rally star Bradley Cox has signed with the Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team, marking a significant new chapter in his career as he steps up to the elite RallyGP class for the remainder of the 2025 season.

The 27-year-old confirmed last month that he had parted ways with BAS World KTM Racing, the team with which he claimed the 2024 Rally2 World Cup title. Cox made his RallyGP debut at the 2025 Dakar Rally but was forced to withdraw after a crash on Stage 6 ended his campaign prematurely.

Cox now joins an experienced Sherco TVS line-up alongside Lorenzo Santolino and Harith Noah, bringing added depth to the team’s World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) efforts.

“I am very excited to be joining the Sherco Factory Racing Team,” said Cox. “It’s a dream come true to ride for a factory outfit and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead. I’ve already spent some days on the bike and I feel super comfortable and at home on it. I’m especially excited for the W2RC round in South Africa — to make my official debut there will be something special.”

Cox will make his first competitive appearance for Sherco at the upcoming Safari Rally in South Africa, scheduled for May 18–24, a fitting venue for the local favourite’s debut in factory colours.

Cox’s rise through the rally-raid ranks has been rapid since his W2RC debut in 2022. He notched his first Rally2 class win in 2023 and secured a total of four Rally2 victories across three seasons before being crowned Rally2 World Champion in 2024.

The move to Sherco TVS not only cements Cox’s place in the top tier of rally-raid competition but also signals Sherco’s commitment to investing in emerging talent with proven potential.
