Boyd and Hoad to judge ‘Girls on The Gas’

Posted:

Team CDR Nokia Yamaha Rider Cheyne Boyd and Silkolene Kawasaki Rider Mitch Hoad will be guest judges at the NSW round of the Honda Girls on The Gas competition. The event being held on the 9th and 10th July at Lake MacQuarie, near Newcastle in New South Wales, is the last stop on the calender for the national series which has unveiled some serious riding talent once again for 2007. "It's great to have Boydy and Mitch supporting womens motocross," said event organiser Lee Hogan. "And I'm sure the girls will get a kick out of having a couple of Australia's best racers giving them some pointers." The New South Wales leg of the competition has once again seen the best entry numbers for the whole of the country. "As a whole, the series has grown considerably for 2007 with a bunch of new sponsors on board, and strong entry numbers in each state," said Hogan. The 'Final Showdown' will be held in late October at the 'Bacchus Marsh' circuit just west of Melbourne. The event will bring all six of the state winners together to go head to head in 4 categories that will determine who will become the 2007 'Girls on The Gas' winner. The overall winner on the day will receive a
