Kemea Yamaha Official MX2 rider Benoit Paturel showed great form in the South of France this weekend, winning two of three races at Lacapelle-Marival in his final preparations before the MX2 season begins in Qatar later this week.
Paturel demonstrated a high level of readiness for the upcoming season, winning two out of three combined MX1-MX2 races.
Paturel had a great flow on over the course of the day on his way to winning two races, taking the overall win and the MX2 win in front of Aleksandr Tonkov and Australian Factory Kawasaki rider Hunter Lawrence.
"I'm really pumped on my races in Lacappelle." Paturel commented. "My riding was really good and I felt comfortable on the bike. Most of all I felt free in my head.
"I used to think too much and that influences my riding. I have to try to do this at the GPs too, and I will ride much better then. This is a great confidence boost and I?m looking forward to next week!"
