Bel-Ray Husqvarna Factory Team Ready Hawkstone Hard Enduro

Posted:

Bel-Ray Husqvarna Factory Racing‰Ûªs Graham Jarvis returns to competitive action this weekend focused on securing a fourth consecutive victory at The Tough One, staged for the first time ever at the legendary Hawkstone Park circuit.

Securing an emphatic win at the opening race of the Hard Enduro season at Hell‰Ûªs Gate in Italy, Jarvis has his sights set on keeping his winning streak alive at his home race.

Winner of the event in 2011, 2012 and 2013, Jarvis has recently dominated 'T1', which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. But with the race moving to a new venue for 2014 ‰ÛÒ the iconic Hawkstone Park motocross circuit ‰ÛÒ the Husqvarna rider faces his biggest challenge to date.

With The Tough One‰Ûªs new venue known around the world as one of the toughest due to its power sapping sandy terrain, Jarvis hopes that his decision to compete on the FE 250 will serve him well during the three-hour duration of the race.

‰ÛÏThe Tough One is my home race so I‰Ûªm hoping for a good result this weekend." Jarvis commented. "I‰Ûªve won the race three times in a row ‰ÛÒ it would be brilliant to make it four.

"With the event moving to Hawkstone I don‰Ûªt really have an idea what the conditions will be like. I don‰Ûªt favour the high-speed motocross sections but hopefully there will be enough technical sections that will suit me.

"After my recent shoulder injury I‰Ûªve been back on my bike trying to build my race fitness. I‰Ûªm feeling good and having fun riding the FE 250. I‰Ûªd love to deliver a winning result on it at The Tough One ‰ÛÒ I‰Ûªll give it my best shot.‰Û
Absent at Hell‰Ûªs Gate due to appendicitis, Alfredo Gomez makes a welcome return to Hard Enduro action this weekend. Now fully recovered, the Spaniard is keen to get his season back on track.

A multiple podium finisher during key 2014 Hard Enduro events, Gomez is looking to start 2014 on a high with a top three result.

‰ÛÏI‰Ûªm looking forward to getting back on track this weekend." Gomez stated. "It was frustrating to miss Hell‰Ûªs Gate but now that I‰Ûªm fit and healthy I can focus on delivering a good result.

"After a couple of weeks rest I‰Ûªve been working hard to get back to 100 per cent. Generally my fitness is good and I‰Ûªm highly motivated for a strong result.

"Hawkstone Park is a new venue for everyone but hopefully it will suit me and I can fight for the podium. That would be a great way to get my Hard Enduro season started.‰Û
