Go behind the scenes of the inaugural South African Safari Rally, where Monster Energy Honda HRC riders took on the rugged beauty and demanding terrain of South Africa’s vast plains.
Over 1,600 kilometres of timed racing across grasslands and savannahs stood between Ricky Brabec, Skyler Howes, Adrien Van Beveren and Tosha Schareina and the finish line at Sun City, as they embraced the challenge of this brand-new rally.
After a week of intense competition, it was Ricky Brabec who secured a strong third-place finish, earning a spot on the podium for Monster Energy Honda HRC.
With the summer break ahead, the riders will continue racking up kilometres on their Honda CRF450 RALLY machines, preparing to reunite for the BP Ultimate Rally Raid Portugal, taking place from 22–28 September.
