After collecting the Round 7 victory just two weeks ago, and narrowing Nathan Crawford‰Ûªs‰Ûª Motul MX2 championship points lead down to only 7 points, this weekend, DPH Motorsport Yamaha rider Jed Beaton has the opportunity to close the gap once again, when the Motul MX Nationals heads to Shepparton for Round 8 of the series this Sunday.
Beaton, who has proven himself in wet and muddy conditions at both Broadford and Conondale this year, well and truly has a 2016 MX2 title on his mind, and with Round 8 marking the final round in the young rider‰Ûªs home state of Victoria before the series heads North, Beaton will be leaving nothing on the track this weekend.
For Beaton, Round 8 at Shepparton provides yet another opportunity for him to attempt to chase down current MX2 points leader Crawford, and shared that after experience at the venue last year, that he‰Ûªs confident ahead of this weekend.
