The Coonawarra location for Rounds 7 & 8 of the AORC held over the weekend in South Australia proved to be the most demanding and challenging of the series to date.
Conditions on Saturday were extremely rough and on Sunday, competitors had to deal with sections of the course that had become wet and slippery due to overnight rain.
For World Enduro contender Jessica Gardiner there was little respite, having arrived back in Australia only two days prior after finishing second at the latest round of the EWC.
Gardiner is becoming accustomed to the logistics of racing in two continents and continued her winning form to dominate the Womens class with back to back wins.
‰ÛÏI‰Ûªm really pleased with my results," Gardiner enthused. "I landed back in Australia and headed straight to SA. The track was definitely the most technical of the year and there was no shortage of riders struggling with the extreme whoops and tricky sections. I had my share of crashes!‰Û
