The 2026 AUSX Supercross Championship will be broadcast live and free on 7plus Sport, live and on-demand on Kayo Sports, with 7mate highlights packages and global coverage available through the new AUSX 360 app.

The 2026 AUSX Supercross Championship has confirmed its broadcast coverage ahead of the season opener in Townsville on Saturday, October 3, with every round set to be available live across Australia.

All five rounds of the championship will be streamed live and free on 7plus Sport, while Kayo Sports will also carry the full live coverage and make it available on demand throughout the season.

In addition, 7mate will air a one-hour highlights package on the weekend following each round, featuring key races and moments from race night.

The championship has also launched the new AUSX 360 app, which will provide international viewers with access to AUSX coverage throughout the season.

AUSX CEO Adam Bailey said the broadcast arrangements would make it easier for fans to follow the championship from anywhere in Australia.

Bailey said having every round available live and free on 7plus Sport, alongside live coverage on Kayo Sports, meant fans could follow the championship from the opening gate drop through to the final race.

“Having every round of AUSX live and free on 7plus Sport, as well as live on Kayo Sports, means fans right across Australia can follow the Championship from the first gate drop to the final race,” Bailey said.

He added that the nature of Supercross made it well suited to live coverage.

“Supercross is made for live broadcast. The racing is fast, unpredictable and incredibly exciting, and we want to make it as easy as possible for fans to be part of it, whether they’re inside the stadium or watching from home,” he said.

Bailey also noted the importance of the delayed free-to-air coverage on 7mate.

“7mate then gives us another opportunity on Sunday to showcase the biggest moments and stories from each round to a national free-to-air audience, via one of Australia’s most prominent linear channels.”

The 2026 AUSX Championship will feature a mix of international and local riders across five rounds in Australia and New Zealand.

Among the headline international entries are Ken Roczen and Cole Davies, who are scheduled to compete in Auckland and at the AUSX Open in Geelong. Jo Shimoda is also expected to make his 450-class AUSX debut at the AUSX Open before competing again in Perth.

They will join defending AUSX SX1 Champion Dean Wilson, 2024 AUSX SX1 Champion Joey Savatgy, Cameron McAdoo, Christian Craig and Cedric Soubeyras, along with leading Australian and New Zealand contenders including Luke Clout and Hayden Mellross.

The 2026 season will also introduce SMX Next Australia, a new development category designed to provide emerging riders with an international pathway while giving AUSX fans an opportunity to see the next generation of Supercross talent in action.
