The word‰Ûªs best trials riders from all over the world will converge in Baiona. With beautiful landscape‰Ûªs making Baiona the perfect location to host the event in which multiple countries will compete for glory. The TdN will begin on September 22 for the opening ceremony and qualification. Up to 120 riders and 25 countries will take part in the TdN. The majority of the parameters will remain the same, with the Men‰Ûªs and Women‰Ûªs Teams consisting of three competitors each for Team Australia.

The Australian Men‰Ûªs Team is made up of well-known known Australian talents that include current Australian Champion, Kyle Middleton, Chris Bayles and Connor Hogan. Both Middleton and Bayles have plenty of experience at the highest level of competition and will be a phenomenal asset. Hogan, only in his second TdN, will gain significant knowledge from Middleton and Bayles. Hogan has again competed this year in the World Championships, so he will likely be more comfortable at a high level of competition.

The Women‰Ûªs team for this year include; Sofie Kraft, Sarah Chivers and new team member Nicole Casey. Both Kraft and Chivers have ridden world rounds and the TdN last year and will certainly be keen to help Casey get the best out of her talent this year. The Womens Team have been practicing hard and should be well suited to the European terrain.

Australia Team Manager Phil Whittle shared; ‰ÛÏIt‰Ûªs very hard to set targets, we are competing against some phenomenal talent in our group which is the Trophy International Class. Competition will likely come from the Americans, Germans and the Czechs. Those nations are usually the top teams within our group. We always have a tussle with the Americans in particular! A podium is possible if things go our way but it will all come down to who can perform on the day and whether the sections suit us.‰Û
