Australian Motocross Championships grows to 10 rounds

The Australian Motocross Championship will grow from 8 rounds to 10 in 2006, the Championship will start in Perth at Wanneroo Park circuit, located 30 km North of Perth, and conclude at Coolum in QLD. The following weekend will see the series travel to Gilman South Australia, there will be 3 rounds in Victoria and 2 in QLD and NSW. Rd1 Wanneroo, WA - April 2
Rd2 Gilman, SA - April 9
Rd3 Wonthaggi, Vic - April 23
Rd4 Conondale, Qld - May 7
Rd5 Geelong, Vic - May 21 (to be confirmed)
Rd6 Newcastle, NSW - May 28
Rd7 Toowoomba, Qld - June 18
Rd8 Broadford, Vic - July 9
Rd9 Newcastle, NSW - July 23
Rd10 Coolum, Qld - July 30

WEM is looking to run 3 or 4 of the eastern seaboard events as 2 day events to allow the following support classes. Australian Women‰Ûªs Cup, Rookies and Clubman Cup. More details will be available in the next week with regard to support classes. ‰ÛÏ We are excited about the future of the Australian Motocross Championships, with 10 rounds in 06 the series will be fast and furious with a big battle ahead for the riders and teams as we search for the 06 champion‰Û
