Gatorback Cycle park, Gainesville FL USA plays host to the 40th Annual Thor Winter National Olympics, presented by Pro Circuit.

With the event showcasing both Supercross and Motocross over six days of racing it is one of USA's largest amateur events.

The first three days will see the riders attack the Supercross track with the competitors moving over to the Motocross track for the final three days of racing.

Current Australian Junior Motocross Girls Champion Mackenzie Tricker ventured over to compete against the tough competition.

"I am racing the Women 14+ class and there is a bigger field of Women than what we normally see in Australia," Tricker explained.

"I felt good in practice then came out with a nice holeshot in the first qualifying race and took the win by over 15 seconds, which will give me first gate pick for tomorrows Main event." Tricker reported.

Former Australian Junior Motocross Champion Luke Clout left his suburban home in Sydney NSW to spend most of this year training at the Millsaps Training Facility (MTF) and has started his week off well taking a fourth position in his first heat in the hotly contested 250B class.

After suffering a bad start Clout pushed from outside the top ten all the way to fourth position, to finish behind Star Yamaha's Cooper Webb, Suzuki rider Jace Owen and Honda mounted Matt Bisceglia.

Rookie sensation Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Adam Cianciarulo started his week off well winning his first supermini heat.
