The Australian Moto Trials team have finished in a fantastic fourth place at the 2013 World Trial Des Nations Championship held in La Chartre, France over the weekend of the 7th and 8th of October.
The Australian team competed in the International Trophy Group the second tier of the international competition taking on teams including the Trophy group winners Germany, runners up the Czech Republic and the United States who finished one position ahead of the Australians in third.
The Australian team consisting of Kyle Middleton Tim Coleman Neil Price Boyd Willcocks and Reserve Colin Zarzcynski put in a strong performance pushing the Americans all the way for the final spot on the podium but eventually had 14 more penalty points than the U.S
In the World Championship group it was Spain lead by 2013 World Trials Champion Toni Bou who came away with the winner trophy, easily winning ahead of Great Britain in second with the French team taking the final spot on the podium.
The Australian Women's team of, Kristie McKinnon, Brooke Lonie, newcomer Adina Reed and reserve rider Ina Halls also put in a solid performance finish in sixth place in what was another extremely competitive event.
