Bohannon, fresh off his 85cc victory at the Australian Junior Motorcross Championships, jetted over England to race on the famous Matterley Basin circuit as part of a global Yamaha Racing initiative and came away with a sensational victory.

After topping timed practice, Bohannon was quick to seize control of the race. Despite Jann Huisman grabbing the holeshot, Bohannon surged ahead, gaining a comfortable lead. When Huisman faltered and Kade Nightingale crashed, there was no stopping Bohannon, who continued to extend his advantage. With seven minutes to go, he had already built a seven-second lead, and by the finish, he crossed the line an astounding 38 seconds ahead of second-place finisher Maurice Heidegger of Austria.

Bohannon’s flawless ride left his competitors scrambling for podium spots, with a fierce battle between Nightingale and Tommy Wood ultimately ending in the American’s favor for third place. In a race where 14 different nationalities filled the top 14 positions, Bohannon’s commanding performance stood out.

Reflecting on his impressive win, Bohannon said, “This is all so exciting. I never thought I could be here in front of all these people, representing Australia. The feeling is so cool, and I’m so happy to take a win here at the SuperFinale. Thanks to everyone who has given me this opportunity.”
