50cc Fun Bikes Lead The Way In Off-Road Sales

50cc Fun Bikes lead the way in Off-Road sales through the third quarter of 2015 with the Honda CRF50 leading the way ahead of the Yamaha TTR50

Overall Yamaha lead the way in terms of manufactures with 29.3% of the market share just ahead of Honda with 27%

In total 32,437 motorcycles were sold between January and September this year, incorporating both Road and Off-road sales which represents a 1.1% incread over the same time in 2014, however Off-Road sales have dropped by 6.6% over last year with a total of 24,474 Off-Road bikes sold.

Releasing the 2015 third quarter motorcycle sales figures, FCAI Chief Executive Tony Weber said Australians purchased 75,893 new motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and scooters between January and September 2015, down 2.5 per cent in comparison to the same period in 2014.
