Australia‰Ûªs premier Quad event will be one of kind raising the bar for all riders, teams and sponsors involved when the ATV Nationals make a long awaited return to Wonthaggi on October 9th and 9th.
The seaside town of Wonthaggi is 132Km South East of Melbourne situated in South Gippsland. The track itself is slightly undulating and consists of strong clay based with excellent loamy sand. The track is fairly fast and flowing with tabletops and ski jumps that are all fairly safe and can be taken at a comfortable speed, which is going to be perfect for the highly prepped race machines and the riders.
Dandenong MCC representative Glenn Capuano stated, "The Dandenong Motorcycle Club is very excited to be hosting the ATV Nationals at Wonthaggi. We expect that the ATVs will love the moist sandy surface at the track and provide some spectacular racing for the spectators."
Promoter Mitchell Van Vliet, who has several titles under his belt including Finke, China International Champion and Australian Champion, is taking on board the role with heart and soul taking the competition to the next level for the first time in Australia.
