The 2015 Peter Stevens South Australian Motocross Championship hits the midway point of the series when round three heads to Andy Caldecott Park in Keith this Saturday and Sunday the 24th and 25th of July.
After two fantastic rounds of racing at the opening two events held in Murray Bridge and Ceduna, over 130 of South Australia‰Ûªs top junior racers will battle it out on the undulating surface of the Keith track on Saturday, before a further 130 plus senior riders battle for glory on Sunday.
Returning to the South Australian Calendar for the first time in many years last year, the Keith circuit proved to be a favourite amongst many competitors and was well received by the majority of riders, providing a tough and technical track, with a mixture of deep sand, deep ruts and lime stone sections.
One rider who is looking forward to returning to Keith, is the rider currently sitting second in the Expert Open championship, Dan Banks.
The Davey Motorsports backed rider who wrapped up the MX1 South Cup last weekend at the MX Nationals round held in Shepparton, Vic, recently rode the updated Keith track in the lead up to this weekends big event.
‰ÛÏThe 2014 SA titles at Keith was the best I have ever seen the venue and also the best the track has been in a long time.‰Û
