2010 Manual of Motorcycle Sport Helmet Rule Change

There has been a Rule Change to the 2010 Manual of Motorcycle Sport to take place with immediate effect.

The Rule Change pertains to GCR 30.1.1.1 in Appendix 1 Helmet Approvals and Fitting

Rule pertains to:
Approved Helmets for use in Motorcycling Australia sanctioned competition Current rule in 2010 Manual of Motorcycle Sport:

GCR 30.1.1.1: Helmets must carry one of the following approval labels, as listed in Rule 01.70 of the FIM Technical Rules c) USA: DOT Federal Standard No 218 / SNELL M95, M2000, M2005 d) JIS T 8133:2000

New rule after change: GCR 30.1.1.1: Helmets must carry one of the following approval labels, as listed in Rule 01.70 of the FIM Technical Rules c) USA: DOT Federal Standard No 218 / SNELL M95, M2000, M2005, M2010 d) JIS T 8133:2000, JIS T 8133:2007
