Baulkham Hills Junior Club Launches DirtX Series this weekend

The Baulkham Hills Junior Motorcycle Club has a long and proud history in the Baulkham Hills Shire providing riding and training facilities for the shires youth for over 40 years.
This weekend the club launches a new series called DirtX, with round 1 firing into action at the Appin motocross complex.
DirtX is a multi-discipline, multi venue club championship series that will be run throughout the year. With the help of many other clubs in the sport, Baulkham Hills has been able to secure 7 different venues for a 12 round series.
The series will involve motocross, grass track motocross, dirt track and enduro style events. The series will cater for children aged 4 through to 16, as will as the parents and older siblings who want have a go at some friendly competition.
There are no pre-requisites for the series, other than all riders must hold a valid MA competition licence and the riders must become member of the Baulkham Hills Club. Senior riders are able to purchase a day licence on the day.
President of Baulkham Hills, Russell McGuirk says "this is probably one of the biggest innovations in our clubs recent history. DirtX is shaping to be a fantastic series, with a great family environment, where riders of all abilities are able to come along, compete and experience different forms of racing at some great venues. Each of the rounds are within easy distance from Sydney and surrounds, and we also have some great social events planned as well"
