The partnership sees both Factory-backed teams joining forces with Pirelli for an all out assault on the Australian Off Road Championships, the Rockstar MX Nationals and other key events like the Finke Desert Race and the Yamaha Australian Four Day Enduro (A4DE) in 2010.

"We are very excited about racing with KTM in Australia" said Brenden Stoeckert, General Manager of Link International. "We see it as a natural progression of the successful partnership between Pirelli and KTM at the factory level. This has seen KTM win the MX2 World Championship in 2009 with Pirelli and we look forward to challenging for championships here in Australia in 2010."

Brad Williscoft, Team Manager for the Motorex KTM Off Road Team said "The opportunity came about for us to use Pirelli in 2010. We had heard a lot about the performance of the tyres from our discussions with teams in Europe, and with our desert racing campaign and AORC invlovement we are really looking forward to using tyres like the new Scorpion Rally, Scorpion MX and Scorpion XC range. Naturally, we are very happy to be associated with Pirelli for 2010 and beyond."

The first round of the Australian Off Road Championships will be at Port Macquarie on the 13th and 14th of March, with the Rockstar MX Nationals Round One at Horsham on March 28.
