Black Money Clothing is set to launch a series of events targeting the adrenaline sports market following the success of A Night of Mayhem, a corporate event celebrating the relaunch of the company.
More than 200 people, drawn primarily from Australia’s motocross industry, braved last Saturday night’s wet and cool conditions to attend A Night of Mayhem under the Silvers Circus Big Top at Burnley Oval, Richmond, VIC.
Black Money Clothing’s new raw, edgy men's and women's tees, including memorial T shirts honouring the lives of Supersport Racer, the late Judd Greedy (1980-2009) and Pro-Motocross Rider, the late Bronte Holland (1988-2009) – both big supporters of Black Money Clothing - were snapped up by the crowd after spectacular performances by the Silvers Circus cast and a finale featuring the Globe of Death motorbike riders performing stunts in a completely enclosed metal globe.
Celebrations continued long into the night, with around 300 partygoers continuing on at the Black Money Clothing After Party at XPLICIT Gentlemen’s Club (XPLICIT) in Northcote, VIC where hip hop group Citywide Krew and Crusty Demons’ ultimate daredevil, Seth Enslow, kept the party pumping.
Black Money Clothing’s Josh Wood (Woody) said support of the event, which included corporate sponsorship from Ringmaster Images, Rockstar Energy Drink, XPLICIT, Etnies, the Pole Guys and Nice Butt Naughty, far exceeded his expectations and A Night of Mayhem is therefore likely to be only the first in a series of Black Money Clothing events.
“I’m pretty stoked on how well things turned out,” Woody said. “We got a lot of awesome feedback on the clothing, which will be available to buy online via our new website – www.blackmoneyclothing.com - from December 7. Thanks to our corporate sponsors, supporters, family and friends working the two venues, it was a totally sick night. Silvers Circus really turned it on and Citywide Krew and Seth killed it on stage at XPLICIT. There will definitely be more Black Money Clothing events.”
Enslow said the Black Money After Party was as good as a concert and “better than a music video, rapping on stage with girls on the poles. It was such a good deal."
A pair of Etnies shoes, donated by Etnies and signed by Enslow and motocross riders Michael (Chucky) Norris, Joel Balchin, Robby Adelberg and Cheyne Boyd, sold at auction to Craig Pownall from Black Money Clothing’s corporate sponsor Ringmaster Images, a custom graphics manufacturer to the racing industry, for a very healthy $1,000. Proceeds will be donated to Reach (www.reach.org.au) the organization founded by former Aussie Rules champion footballer and Melbourne Demons President, Jim Stynes, to encourage all young people, no matter their circumstances, to believe they can achieve.
A framed memorial tee honouring Judd Greedy also sold for $1,000 to Matt McMillan with proceeds to be donated to an Apert Syndrome sufferer whom Judd mentored during his lifetime. A framed memorial tee honouring Bronte Holland was sold to Paul Skorsis, raising $1,000 for the Horsham Motocross Club.
