Motorcycling Australia President re-elected for two years

Motorcycling Australia President Ron Kivovitch has had his term in the position extended by a further two years, following MA’s Annual General Meeting which was held last week.
Kivovitch was running against two other candidates for President, and the MA Council voted for him to continue in his position as the President.
At the meeting, Director Les Thomas was re-elected while Beach Thomas was re-appointed to his position, and the pair will sit on the MA Board for another two-years each.
Speaking about the events from the meeting, Kivovitch said that he was very happy to be given another two years at the helm, and explained that the stability within the organisation is a wonderful sign of how MA is progressing.
“I’m extremely pleased to have been re-elected for another two years - that will give me 10 years as the President of MA.
“Les was re-elected to his position as Director and Beach was re- appointed, and I am very pleased about that.
“It means that we have continuity there.
“We don’t want dramatic change because things are going really well - if you look back add see what has changed over the last few years, we are heading in the right direction.”
