It was the Duke Brothers, Riley, Bryson and Dylan, that dominated proceedings during the running of the 2008 Nowra Masters Open Motocross event that was held last Sunday (May 25) at Yerriyong MVRG, near Nowra, on the South Coast of NSW.
Close to 150 riders took to the Yerriyong MVRG venue where there was plenty of hard fought action, but it was the boys from the Duke family that shone brightly throughout the day. Riley Duke took out first place in the 50cc Division 2 7 to Under 9 Years class, while his brother Bryson finished in third. The oldest of the Duke family, Dylan, managed to come away with victory in the 65cc 7 to Under 9 Year class.
Two other riders that managed to get themselves on the podium twice saw Jaiden Corrigan claim victory in the 65cc 10 to Under 12 Years class and finish in third place in the 85cc 9 to Under 12 Years class, while Kieran Hall took out second spot in both the A and B Grade Lites and Open All Powers classes.
Other winners on the day were Aaron Tanti (85cc 9 to Under 12 Years), Ben Hussey (85cc 12 to Under 16 Years), Calib Best (Junior Lites), Mark Merlo (C Grade Lites), Kurt Chalker (A and B Grade Lites), and Paul Grant (Open All Powers).
