With no time to spare and the start of the ISDE less than a week away. NZ team manager Shaun Stanbridge and fellow selectors have already found a replacement in Lachlan Columb. Scott’s older brother. from the reserve rider list.

"I grew up playing rugby. My goal was to be an All Black - Scotty’s goal was to be a professional motocross rider!"
Strict competition restrictions require any late replacement Trophy Team riders come from one of the three-rider club teams already entered for the event.
