Matt Fish podiums in Pro debut

Last weekend, November 20th, saw Matt Fish compete in the 10th and final round of the OMA nationals at Cooperland raceway, Stillwater Oklahoma. After having already wrapped up the Open A Championship Matt stepped it up a class to make his Pro class debut.
"I was excited about this race, not only because had I won the A championship but I was stepping up to the Pro class for the first time and I want to know were I stood before taking on the pro class full time next year"
After a good start, Matt was in a three way battle for the lead for most of the 10 lap, 2 hour race.
"I was still with the leader with 2 laps to go and I was feeling really good and ready to make a pass for the lead when a lap rider fell in front of me in a creek crossing and I got stuck on the bank and lost valuable time which I was never able to catch up" Fish lamented.
At the end of the day third on debut was an encouraging result.
