Fullnosie.com.au's Moto Manager Tipping comp returns for 2013 MXN

Australia's favourite Motocross tipping competition has returned for the 2013 Monster Energy Motocross championship with complete rider list's ready for Moto Managers to selected their opening round teams.

Coming off the back of the 2012 tipping competition where 367 team managers select teams throughout the season, the 2013 championship is set for another 10 round competition spanning the course of the entire National motocross championship.

Last years champion REX STATEN is sure to be back to defend his title, along with previous series champion POP and there are even whispers around that inaugural tipping champion Waterboy may make a return to the tipping foray, though it might be under another alias.

There a couple of small changes for the competition heading in to it's sixth straight season, with the biggest change being the reduction to only two classes to select riders from.

With the MXD class only racing eight of the ten rounds of the 2013 MX Nationals, to get each round fair and consistent over the course of the year, only the MX1 and MX2 class riders will be able to be chosen this year.

The new initiatives introduced to the MX Nationals in 2013 including, points behind awarded back to 30th position and also the inclusion of championship points for the five top qualifiers in the MX1 class at each round, will have an affect on how Moto Manager will have to consider their teams each and every round.

With Superpole points counting towards team totals, picking a fast qualifier in your team be the difference in owning the #1 plate or not come the end of the season.

The new points paying system will mean using the left over money to purchase cheaper riders, will have a bigger impact than ever before, with 21st position in each moto now paying 10 points compared to zero previously, the mid pack rider could prove to be make or break to Moto Managers throughout the season.

Selecting MX1 riders could also prove crucial each round, as in previous years, any championship points scored by an individual rider will count towards the Moto Manager competition, meaning if a rider you selected scores points during the new Go Pro SUPERPOLE Qualifying session, you will earn those points towards your round and series total.

The competition is now open and Moto Managers will have to 7am of race day (Sunday) to get their teams in, another slight change from previous years.

At this point in time we are still finalising series prizes with an announcement on end of series prizes being announced in the near future.
