Dean Ferris earns his ICE1RACING team their first GP points of the year

Dean Ferris gave his ICE1RACING to their first GP points at the second round of the FIM World Motocross championship held in Sevlievo Bulgaria.
Ferris returning to the race track for the first time since injuring his elbow in a pre season race, raced two strong moto's on the rough hard pack track at the Sevlievo venue.
Starting in 25th place mid way through the first lap of both races, Ferris was able to move up to 20th position in the first race before improving to 15th position in the second race giving the Australian a successful first championship round for his new Kawasaki team.
"I came to the race without any expectations, so I am satisfied with the clean motos I was able to ride", commented Ferris his first GP start.
With the next round only one week away and being held in Italy, Ferris will aim to be part of the group who finished just ahead of him in Bulgaria.
"The lack of arm pump in the second moto gave me better chances to keep up with the speed. The battle of the places 10 to 15 was fierce today, next weekend I want to be a part of that battle", concluded Ferris.
Ice1 team manager Kari Tiainen was satisfied with Ferris's first hit out of the season.
"Dean's riding was smart today, he rode on his level considering his recovery from the injury. I am satisfied with his performance this weekend", complimented Tiainen.
