Moss charged hard from last to about 10th place in the final moto before a second mistake seen him finish in 17th

Things were looking good heading into the final moto, however disaster struck on the opening lap when Moss tangled with other competitors in the opening few corners leaving him on the ground and scrambling to save the day.

At once stage it looked like things were back on track but another fall late in the race left the Nerriga rider in 17th position at race end, though it was enough to secure third place for the round.

"The last race was not so good, I got tangled up with some riders at the start of the race causing me to crash and putting me at the back of the field. I was then able to charge through to about 9th position." Moss explained ."

"Late in the race I made a few more mistakes, with a small tuck of the front end and missing some gear changes, but overall it was a big step in the right direction and third overall for the day is good for my Campbell Mining, Troy Lee Designs, Maxima Racing Honda team." he concluded.

Moss will now set his sights on racing the Coolum round of the Sunny state title in Queensland this coming weekend before making his way to Wonthaggi for the next round of the National series.
