Does Darryll King know that he shouldn't be going so fast at 42 years of age?

The former world number 2 is still in fine form and continues to defy nature by racing dirt bikes at crazy speed. He won all four motos on the weekend and takes a commanding lead into the final Vets round at Coolum later in the year. This comes on top of winning the New Zealand motocross championships earlier in the season.

"I had a great day racing on a track that really challenges you. Its fast, has some jumps and gets super rough and becomes a real riders track."

"It's nice to win this event and huge thanks must go to Yamaha Australia and Craig Anderson's Berry Sweet team for their assistance over the weekend," DK said.

Round two of the Vets championship will take place at the final round of the MX Nationals at Coolum. QLD on August 25th
