The Revheads Review radio program has supported Metcher for six years since he came up through Mini GP bikes, GP 125, Supersport 600.

An appeal will be held for Metcher on 20 February 2010 at the Warrandyte Cafe - 61 Yarra St, Warrandyte VIC - to raise much needed funds to help support the youngster in his opportunity to become a professional motorcycle racer.

Any donations of money or merchandise and the like for raffles would be gratefully appreciated, and Revheads Review are happy to offer the opportunity to put up a signage on behalf of the respective donors on the night of the fundraiser to acknowledge there support toward the event.

Not too many chances come along for Australians to go overseas to take on the world but when it does, one has to grab it with both hands.

Below are the details about Metcher's ride:

• RAT motorsports is the team name run by Rob Vennegoor. Rob has decided to switch from racing Yamaha to Honda superbikes for 2010.
• They will be running in the German (IDM), Dutch (ONK) and possibilities of 1 or 2 World Superstock 1000 races during the year.
• The motorbikes were received on the last Saturday of January.
• Metcher has been offered a one year contract with the team, which won the Dutch (ONK) Superbike Championship in 2009 with Aussie rider Gareth Jones, and managed podium finishes in the German championship (IDM).
• They will be running on Pirelli tyre's in both ONK and IDM championships.
