Six more qualify for Australian Solo Speedway Title

A large crowd turned out to the Mildura Motorcycle Club Speedway Complex, Olympic Park, for the 2010 Australian Solo Title Qualification Meeting last night (30 Dec), hitting off a big week of Motorcycle Speedway.
The Murray River town of Mildura is renowned for producing world class Speedway competitors and the track did not disappoint last night, as sixteen hopefuls contested for a place in the final six, qualifying for the Australian Championships to be held in Gilman (SA) Saturday night and round two to be held Sunday night at Mildura, before moving to Newcastle.
After 4 rounds, South Australian Robert Ksiezak finished the night in first position, followed by Victorian Justin Sedgmen, Queensland’s Josh Grajczonek, New South Welshman Alex Davies, and England’s Josh Auty. The six and final place was decided in three rider heat Joe Haines, Dakota North and James Holder, eagerly fought for the final qualifying position, which was filled by James Holder.
