Brett Whale has taken over the role of Kawasaki Racing Team motocross and supercross team manager after Ross McWatters left the position early last month, McWatters has since joined Motorex KTM as their team manager.
Whale had previously run the Whales Kawasaki race team with Brent Landman and Cody Mackie. The news of the signing would also signal that the Whales Kawasaki team will no longer run. Landman has already taken a privateer ride next season and Mackie has signed with an unknown team to compete in America.
Kawasaki Racing Team Engineers - Charlie Costanzo and Ken Wheeler will continue to work for the team spinning the spanners for Daniel Reardon and Mitch Hoad respectively.
As part of the re-organisation is structure changes the team will leave it's base in Sydney and relocate to Brisbane.
Ted Mori, Kawasaki Motors Pty Ltd Managing Director said "The new team structure brings fresh, new talent to support the existing dedicated team members and we are confident that with the extra support and man power, we will achieve significantly better results for Kawasaki in 2007 and beyond".
